As spring arrives, the coastal Binhai New Area greets visitors with blooming flowers and ocean views. From the early blooms of winter jasmine in March to the elegant peonies in June, the district offers a unique blend of floral beauty and maritime charm.
The flower season officially begins in late March. Winter jasmine, pink peach blossoms, and elegant magnolias create an enticing spring atmosphere across the district’s parks and green spaces.
From late March to mid-April, cherry blossoms form romantic pathways, while flowering plum and canola flowers brighten the landscape.
A health run through the canola fields in Xiaowangzhuang town allows participants to enjoy spring scenery along the way. The National Maritime Museum of China also hosts spring exhibitions and workshops during this time.

In April, crabapple, peony, and poppy flowers continue the spring display. Yellow roses bloom in Dongdi Park, their floral scent blending with the ocean breeze.
From early April to mid-May, petunias and other flowers line the streets, with their fragrance reaching the Bubbling & Boiling Music & Art Festival on Dongjiang coast.
In May, the Wildflower Island at Jinghu Lake Park features white daisies in full bloom. Weekend seaside concerts at Shayun Square offer cultural experiences by the sea. Peonies in Tianjin Economic-Technological Development Area also reach their peak.
Spring in Binhai is a time when flowers and the sea come together, creating an unforgettable scenic experience.
